Designed in collaboration with Mark Gonzales’ Krooked Skateboards and skater Natas Kaupas for team rider Ray Barbee, the Vans Skate Half Cab 92 VCU arrives as a modernised take on Steve Caballero’s signature silhouette from 1992. Part of Vans’ Skate Classics collection and arriving as a celebration of 30 years of the Half Cab, this exclusive skate shoe features premium blue suede uppers, reinforced DURACAP underlays and energy returning POPCUSH insoles. Vans’ SickStick gum rubber compound complements the original Waffle outsole for increased traction, whilst the all-new sidewall finish features etched ‘Vans Krooked’ branding. Contrast white stitching can be seen across the upper overlays, whilst the recessed six eyelet lacing system features lock-in tongue straps. A woven ‘Half Cab Skateboarding’ tongue label is mirrored by debossed logo variants across each padded collar, whilst an illustrative character design is styled in a block tone shade of white across each exterior facing heel. Finished with Vans’ Skate Classics collection flag labels and with all-red rubberised ‘Off the Wall Skateboarding’ heel scabs.
